IPAA WA Individual and Corporate Member representatives attended the Institute’s member meet and greet networking evening and Annual General Meeting, hosted at Albert Facey House, Perth on 26 October 2017.

Members gained the opportunity to vote in the new 2017/18 IPAA WA Council, hear what the Institute is all about, hear the IPAA WA’s plans for 2017/18 and meet fellow members from across the sector.

2016/17 Key Achievements

Events and Awards

  • 1,808 delegates across 23 Events, Seminars and Awards Ceremonies
  • Record number of nominations for the 2017 Achievement Awards
  • 665 delegates across the W.S. Lonnie Awards and Achievement Awards
  • 41 awards presented to organisations and individuals in the public, local and NFP sectors
  • 54 presenters including Ministers, Directors General, CEOs, Executive Directors, Academics and Industry Experts

Public Service Training and In-Agency

  • 109 courses, from our suite of 45 public training courses
  • 938 delegates at our public training courses
  • 64% more in-agency training programs ran than we budgeted for
  • 6 new public training courses

Membership

  • 310 Individual Members from across 154 different organisations
  • 87 Corporate Members representing over 100,000 public, private, not-for-profit and tertiary professionals
  • 84% Corporate Member retention rate

  • 15% increase in social media likes and followers across Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
