Women in Public Sector Leadership

Changing Cultures, Driving Better Performance

A sell-out audience were inspired by an all star program at our first full day 'Women in Public Sector Leadership' conference.

Presenters discussed cultural and systemic barriers inhibiting women's success in the workplace. Discussions  highlighted that significant cultural change is required to achieve workplace equality. Commissioner Katarina Carroll of the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services authority shared her personal story and highlighted how a deliberate program of cultural change over two years has seen a signficant improvement in her organisation's performance.
